Question

Does the air con pump need any regular service? I have a sticker on mine that includes the words OIL........150ml
I cant see anywhere to check or top up any oil. The pump sounds a bit noisey to me, although its my first car with air con so i am not an expert, the pully on the front sounds like, (dont laugh) a small bird tweeting, as it spins, tweet tweet tweet it goes, rising and falling with the revs, you can hear it in the car at idle. any ideas?

When you get the aircon vacumed and refilled, they add the required oil to it.
Its not something you can do yourself.

Is your aircon working properly or feebly ?
If the latter you need a regass, or full service (vacuum, regass and oil)

Not sure if it will affect your squeak

Just had mine serviced by Coolair UK (MY00)for £99 inc VAT.

He used specialist equipment to pump the gas and oil in and it took around 1 hour, at the place of your choice.

The cost also includes a years insurance against parts failure, radiator problems including stone damage, so not a bad deal.
