K&N or ITG - these seem the most popular ones.

What are the pro's and con's of each. I'm not brave enough to go for a full induction kit due to the rumours of MAF failure. Although I haven't yet seen a thread: 57i killed my MAF, I wouldn't want to be the first!

either really, i chose the KnN purley because i was offered one a the right price, the ITG uses oil & foam, while the KnN uses oil & cotton pleats, u cant go wrong with either, both have very good reps with the Scoobie clan...

macspower in ireland offer a MAF guarantee with there KnN, Sti induction kit, not too sure of the details though if thtas what u really want... IMHO induction kits are good for top end only gains, fine on track but not the best for the daily grind

Cheers

i saw somewhere that the induction kit does cause a loss of torque a low (pre 4k) revs. Definately don't want this, saving to buy downpipes to bang the torque figures up, don't need to spend money to take it down again.

Like you say, good for track. How often do you change up every gear at 7000. Me, not too often, rather have fat torque everywhere
