Can anyone direct to a web site which details engine types by reference number?

I know of those that use "Application" code (GC6 etc) but can't find any dealing with the Engine Type Code?

Check out www.sidc.co.uk for the engine codes that go with the type of car (JDM) which are Jap domestic market cars (grey imports)
