Please can anyone shed some light on what task a resonater does? what it is? and does the car need one. I drive a MY00 and I am changing the centre section to compliment my back box, I have heard people ask about if it has a resonater or not, and would just like to know. Thanks in advance Steven.

 

in your centre section there is a cat and a noise resonator.

the scooby will still pass the mot without the centre cat.
the noise resonator just makes it quieter.

i run a TSL centre pipe and it goes through the mot no probs
