I run a saloon version of the above which I have had for 7 months. I watched my woman take it up the road the other day and was shocked to hear how quiet it is. I think mine must be the quietest one about.
Exhaust and filter etc are standard.
What is the cheapest way of making it throb a little more aggresive? Would a backbox replacement do it or do I need to de-cat?
Help please this won't do - I want to be heard!!!

the only mp3 file I know of is at www.scoobysport.co.uk has one of their's. Just the back box does make a surprisingly big difference. You get used to it quickly but everyone you drive past knows you're there.

Can't wait to de-cat it.!

You can make your car louder by just changing the size of the end piece of the tail pipe, quite a few people do this rather than changing mufflers etc

All depends on how much you want to be heard. If you just want a back box get something like the scoobysport/TSL/Jap-innovations, but if you really want to be heard(like 2miles away) get a proper exhaust like a full Blitz Nur SpecR or a HKS Hiper/Super Dragger, both retail for around £500 but are well worth it. You can keep the down pipe(front cat) and pass mot's with it still on. The TSL etc back boxes are roughly £200+ and are very good items. I've had a Jap-innovations system and it's not too loud, and really brings out the boxer throb of the scoob, have changed to a Blitz now, due to cosmetic reasons, but would highly recommend the J-I system. The Blitz is very loud, but you don't really notice it after a couple of weeks. All depends on how loud and how much you want to spend. BTW, there's a Jap-Innovations back box for sale in the for sale section, check it out. click me
