Hi chaps,

I've just imported myself a late96 Legacy GTB twin turbo estate to run around in. Just wondering if anyone knows much about the way the sequential turbo system works on it? The power delivery seems a bit strange to me, it boost up about 2200rpm then the boost drops off substantially about 3500 and then goes back up again about 5000. This means there is a massive flat spot in the rev range. Anyone know if this is right or not?

Thanks
Paul

Gotta '98.

primary spools from 1500, though you don't feel it till 2/2500, depending on loud peddle postion.
secondary 4000, real shove from 4500.

yes there is a dead zone, primary stops at about 3750/4000.
you get use to it.

Oh right, may be I'm just used to my Supra(when it was twin turbo), that never used to have any big flat spots like this has. Must admit I haven't really driven the GTB properly as its not registered as yet. I'm sure I'll get used to it.

What about tuning these? Can you up the boost on these safely?

Thumbs up

Good choice

Best to join the B4 group - it seems to be the place where TT owners get together.

Lots of knowledge there.
