ive just fitted a hks exhaust and ive lost loads of power, it doesnt put you back in your seat no more, it feels like its not boosting, i put the old aftermarket (fujitabla or something, its only got a 2 1/2 inch tail pipe) one back on and its back to its lively self again, i thought hks was supposed to improve performance not take it away, any one had similar probs?or does anyone have any solutions to this?

You don't just bolt on the widest back box you can think off to gain HP.

The reality is, exhaust systems don't add any power, it merely takes it away, but the correct system will take LESS power away.

Autocrossers have raced their Honda Civics with nothing beyond the exhaust manifold. No back-box and no pipe. Simply because the existence of an exhaust system hurts high RPM HP.

Adding an unrestrictive aftermarket system might have resulted in your car losing low RPM HP, but most likley haven't lost any power at the peak HP figures are.

The super dragger is also a heavily padded exhaust and nothe the best for power, try the hiper muffler for a better exhaust tho is a lot louder than dragger.
