LPG conversions???

Anyone here have an LPG conversion on their Scooby? ( turbo's , either UK or JAP)
My Dilema....
Love Scoob's, have about 5.5k to spend then a conversion ( if ok?) at about £1200 making a 6.7k car that performs great, practicle and returns a cost equivilant of about 45 to the gallon!
Thinking of a 92 ltr tank occupying the spare wheel slot.
Appreciate all the advise i can get..
Anyone have experiences or own an LPG now?, feel free to email me direct too.
