Would people say that its OK to increase power (+30ish bhp) when a car has piston slap ?
Opinion is divided - some say slap is not a problem - some say it is & should be corrected.

Any opinions ?

Ro.

Piston slap is not a problem ( unless its really really bad )
In some ways, for high boost engines it may be preferred to run the pistons a little looser in the bore, as there is less likelyhood of a piston siezing into the bore, from the extra heat produced.
