CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT THE SWITCH DOES ON THE ACCELERATOR MY CARS A 1996 STI????

No I can't but I can however, tell yiou what the button on the LHS of your keyboard with "Caps Lock" on it does...it STOPS YOU SHOUTING ON THE BBS!!!

Press it once and hear it beeps twice. Then press it again and hold it for a long time. The bomb should be activated and you've got 20 seconds to run away..

You must have my old car...Dont press it, its my anti theft device. It will shoot a 12" steel spike up thru the drivers seat, then send 100,000v up your sh**ter.

best thing is to take a picture and post it up - may be for your alarm? or a kill switch for the car?

I'll think you'll find that the 'do you have water spray' question was that if you do, it'll be the switch for it.
At a guess.
Or, it might be the 'bomb' explanation. That sounds plausable as well.

The switch is totally standard,its a little microswitch on the arm of the pedal as soon as you press it down the switch switches did any sti's come with standard turbo timers??????Also in the loom conection box by the fuse box theres two female black sockets which you can pull the black plug from one and place it in the other any ideas y.

I don't have water spray, but what controls the water spray?
Could it be throtle position (hence switch) and boost pressure????
