I like the idea of adding a vent to atmosphere dump valve.

My understanding is that they reduce the time the turbo impeller takes to spool up thereby enhancing throttle response. (Thanks for the explaination MATtel)

Problem is I dont want to sound like Walter Rohl doing Pikes Peak.

Can anyone tell me if there is a more 'quiet' version of this devise?

The increase is so minimal I wouldn't bother spending the money on a DV just for this IMHO, if its a whoosh sound then go for a VTA one.

I have a forge VTA on my car and it's not too loud. Certainly not as loud as, for example an HKS Sequential BOV.
