Can anyone tell me exactly what is included in the Propack upgrade for the MY01/02's and wether there is a cheaper way of sourcing the parts etc. Dealers want circa 2k !!

Assuming you mean the Prodrive Performance Pack for the Standard MY01/02 WRX

The cost is £1600 inc Fitting and VAT

This is Exhaust Upgrade , ECU Upgrade and some nice Blue Prodrive intercooler pipes

MY02 STI Prodrive Performance Pack £2k Parts to be confirmed

As for alternatives [assuming you have no warranty concerns]

You could fully decat your exhaust for a start

OR

TSL have a MOTEC option for both WRX and STi

Is it possible just to have the ECU remapped rather than having all the exhaust changed? If so how much?

Also there is a small issue of warranty seeing as I sourced it from a main Subaru dealer........

Will putting in a ITG filter affect the warranty?

The fact that the PPP does not affect the warranty is the only reason that those 'in the know' actually spend the extra on the PPP over the other mods which are cheaper & more effective.

 

how many sub three year old cars have you seen that have gone POP ?
I haven't heard of a single case. plenty about clutches and other bits but no big style engine or drivetrain problems.

 

PPP is fully subaru warrantied, you even get a nice certificate to say so.

Makes a big difference to mid range etc, and a lovely noise with the new back box. do it !!!!
