I have a 93 WRX, and have never had a fuel light come on, despite fitting 51 litres into the 50 litre tank on one occasion!!
Tend to find that when the needle gets to the bottom bar, it generally only takes 43-odd litres to fill up. However, I'd rather fill up early than risk running the tank dry or low enough to pick up nearly 10 years of sludge!!

Cheers mate, same story here realy, just don't tend to run it much lower then a quarter tank,
Have been close before nearly had to put in normal ul.( got octane booster for emergences now )
Perhaps we've both blown the warning light bulb? ( just thought it would be usful for doing acurate m.p.g. figures. )

My 95WRX doesn't have one, I think the scoobs had one when the new dash was introduced.

I thought I didn't have a fuel warning light either in my P1.
Got a bit close to empty this morning, and just as I was pulling in to fill her up - lo and behold, the fuel light blinks on!
