as you may know, i run a Rally car and i am in need of some radio communications within the car now, from the car to the service vehicle.

I have obtained two motorola radios but i can't to be able to tune them in to each other, is there are communications people out there that could have a look at them??

 

Try Brentwood Communications (192?). We get our Motorolas for Catalunya nd Network Q from them and they programme them for us.

 

You will find that the radios are on what they call IIRC duplex type Transmit on one frequency and receive on another this means that they might have gone through a base station and not mobile to mobile it's quite an easy mod to do you just need to find out what crystals they have depending on age of the sets.

Find your local Ham radio club and they should be able to help you out I would think.
