I get a buzzing from behind the dashboard on my STi7, it's mainly between 3000 and 4000 rpm, like a metallic resonance. I checked all the exhaust heatshields today, tightened them up, no difference. I think it is actually inside the car and is very annoying, spoiling an otherwise superb car. Anyone else got/had this? Any solutions without pulling out the dash? Dealer never heard of it.

No you aren't the only one I have the same problem and there was a thread hear not so long ago which suggested that about 5/6 people had the problem along with the knocking noise from the rear suspension...
