Just spoke to the dealer that's going to fit my new SS DP and he asked what I was going to do about the check engine light, Is this a problem ?

full system fitted to mine - never seen check engine light apart from initial self test. the lambda sensor goes before the cat anyway so no probs there and less back pressure doesn't seem to be an issue. think they are just trying to scare you

That's what I thought looked at the new pipe ansd the sensor is right after the turbo so no differance there !

This only affects 01/02 cars, for which there is an electronic fix.

Feel free to educate your dealer on the differences between models/years
