93-95 Impreza L Swap
Yes im new to this but bear with me please. I havent seen any threads on this.. theres a nice impreza l (95) in my area that id like to get and swap the life out of. But i was wondering of if id run into any issues swapping it with an 02-04 wrx or sti power train (since its currents FWD) with an ej22. I know its the same gm6 chassis but its also older. Any and all info helps, thanks for the patience with me

Welcome mate. You will probably find more information on the American forums. They had more classics in N/A format while in the UK we got the turbo version. There are loads of swaps from a new age WRX/STI into a classic.

Yes but won't most of them already be FWD?
He's talking about a base non turbo FWD, didn't have many in the UK but can still get them.

Don't think he is from the UK mate. When they do the swap I always assumed they did gearbox too.
