Anyone got one fitted to their scoob? I came across a sport cat and back box on ebay which seemed like a good price I think it was £499. Anyway I called them they're up in Sheffield seemed knowledgeable and enthusiastic and they recommended me a complete system 3" stainless with a 4.5" tip. About a bag (£1k) which is more than I wanted to pay to replace my Miltek. Just wanted a deeper burble and a tad more noise. Thoughts please?

 

If it's more than you want to spend don't buy it.

 

What car do you have? And do you need/want a sports cat. Getting just mid section and back box should bring the price down. I don't have the Cobra system but I did have the Afterburner Vortex I think, I'm sure I have paperwork for it somewhere.

yeah I have a sports cat. miltek 3" to turbo. I could decat it I guess to change the sound but then would need a remap I would have thought?

 

More than likely mate. Sound vs style, the cobra system you shared looks very close to stock why not keep your sports cat and mid pipe, change the back box only or got for a different back box for more sound. Like I said I'm running an Afterburner, thats loud.

 

The afterburner is the go to back box it seems and I do like the sound. I might just with it too. For £300 its not too bad so will decide when I get it in for a service. Cheers

 

Cobras and afterburner vortexs etc. come up for sale 2nd hand on ebay/fb marketplace etc all the time if you're not looking to spend £300+

 

Afterburner does sound nice, had one on my Hawkeye for a few months, only changed it coz i wanted me ears to bleed so swapped it out for a Blizt Nur Spec-R

 

Was looking around on ebay and came across a titanium exhaust but the chap wants 3 bags for it. Is he mad? Anyone have one on theirs? I found one on torque gt for 1300ish and my mate wished he bought for his evo 9 instead of the stainless one he bought. Seem to be rarer than real hair on wayne rooneys head!!
