to cut a long story short...
i came home the other night to find that one of my neibours had parked half way across my drive, pissed off shouting out of my window i reved my car hard twice and it cut out..
i tried to start it and it would not start, tried it again and
it started..??? ( with a funny smell )

any ideas what caused it to cut out??????

what type of car (year model?) is it?

car is my98 uk car, thanks for the reply it is just doing
my head in why it cut out.....and worrying.

maybe you hit the rev limiter in which case it DOES cut out!
I haven't tried that while the car is idle though to know for sure.
