Wrong radiator?
Car's having cambelt done in the new year, so I've bought a new radiator.
But it seems to have two connections mine doesnt.
They are the two right angled brass unions with ted plastic end caps.
Does anyone know what they are for, and should I change it?

They are for built in transmission cooler section for AT models which is also used for some MT models (UK Foresters).

Thanks Don.
It came from Euro Car Parts, who cannot source another before next Tuesday, by which time it'll be on it's way to be sorted.
Hopefully ECP in Darlington will be able to get the right one.
I can never understand why, having given them the correct registration number, they still make mistakes.
My car isn't and never has been, an automatic.

I really hate the ECP part lookup system. I’ll know the exact part I’m after but I can’t just look for it, I have to put my number plate in which brings up the wrong parts a lot of the time as you’ve found out. Or I need a part that wouldn’t fit as standard but will because of modifications but there’s no way of finding it without guessing another model it’d fit as standard according to them. I don’t use them anymore unless I have no choice or they’re much cheaper than anywhere else and I’ve somehow managed to find what I need.

If its made by 'EIS' I'll give it 3years before it leaks.
It'll start weeping around the crimps that attaches the aluminium finned core to the plastic end tanks. I wouldn't let anything branded by them touch any of my cars: The thermostats fall apart and the water pump impellers are inferior designs.
Simpler answer, as above: Don't use ECP (stopped using them as a supplier years ago for lots of reasons).
