Default Bugeye/Blobeye cup holders the same ?

Lack of cup holders in my blobeye is annoying me. Two questions. . . . .
Do the bugeye centre heater vents/hazard switch with the pop out cup holder fit in place of the blobeye vents, and the same colour ?
From memory my old bugeye had rear cup holders aswell, a wee trap door opened behind the armrest. Is there a way of fitting one of them to the blobeye ?

Funny enough i was going to ask about rear cup holders for my Bugeye, as it doesn't have any but looks like theres a panel that can be removed for them.

Ah right, get what your saying now. Your dash is mainly found in the late Blobeye and Hawkeye models i believe most Blobeye's had the Bugeye style dash, mine did on 03 plate. guessing yours is 2005?

06.
looks like it should fit. If possible id be happy with the rear ones as it means I can leave the dash alone

I fitted Bugeye to my Blob. You need the vents, the cup holder the blank (although you can also fit a JDM cardholder) and I think there is also a small metal bracket.
Plastic is a different shade of silver. Bug is a bit lighter.

If you haven't got 2 cup holders in the centre, upgrade to STI one?

I do, but they're crap. Too shallow to hold anything with any confidence

No rear cup holders in my Bug or Blob. Maybe it's a saloon thing?

Got a feeling it's a moulding of a cutout, rather than a panel. Could be wrong though.

I've had a few cars with cup holders there so I may be getting mixed up.

Foresters have rear cupholders where that panel is so maybe some Impreza models, too?

Another idea would be a single DIN cupholder unit!
