Default Brian crower Stage 2 or 3 cams

Has anyone had any experience with the BC stage 2 or 3 cams ?
I'm in the process of building a 2.1 stroker from my 03 STI motor and the cams are the only part I haven't yet bought. The Basic spec is
Manley rods and Pistons, ported and polished heads, BC springs and retainers, Supertech valves, E/L HEADERS, factory position gtx3076.

Yes, I have BC Stage 3 Cams in my V5/6 STI P&P heads with +1mm Supertech valves, springs on 2.5 closed deck with SC46 and Grimmspeed TMIC. Converted to solid buckets, but achieving valve clearances was PITA required 438 buckets from Japan.
Also have the RCM supergrip cambelt kit and RCM cam pulleys.

They perform really well, when mapped on 99 RON maxxed out at 482bhp + 447ftlb but was dialed back down to a safe 462HP + 440ftlb

There is more valvetrain noise than standard and can be tricky when paired with twin plate clutch for daily driving around town especially over effing speed humps!

Cheers dude.
The FGK header I`m running doesn`t have huge pipework and I`m going with quite a small Turbine housing, so I ordered to stage 2 cams. It will be good to compare with yours once its built.
But it is a 60 LB/Min turbo so it would be nice to see close to 500 on 99 RON

Here is dyno print from mapping session at TDR, I think there is a clip of it on the rollers on TDR Facebook page, blue wagon with fog light on.

Power and Torque scaling differs which is why lines don't cross at 5252rpm

I'm running a set of aftermarket cams in my EJ25 and I've found that I needed to raise the idle speed to around 1200 rpm for the car to idle well. Otherwise I didn't find too much difference in terms of mapping compared to a standard EJ20 except that I needed to add ignition timing to around the 1300rpm - 2000rpm range under vacuum to stop the car from juddering when cruising.

Hope this helps.
