New Coil pack?

New Coil pack?
Evening all.
I've got a bit of a hesitation problem on my MY00 Forester. I do have 3 coil packs from my various parts cars, but they would all also be between 20 - 23 years old. Swapping them all on seems to have the same result, and none them have any physical cracks. Is it worth getting brand new one? Is it the sort of part that would fail? I'm not so much worried about the cost, as I think they are only about 45 quid new, but I don't tend to throw old parts away, so don't really want to add one to my collection if it wasn't needed.

Just plodding along. Between 1.5k and 2k rpm. I usually just put it in 5th gear at 30 mph to avoid it. Cab driver style.
I recently had new plugs, new leads, new fuel pump and filter, new MAF. I've cleaned the air filter, its a green one, so its re-usable.
Running out of ideas really. The car wouldn't start recently due to a faulty fuel pump relay in the Sigma alarm. So I was hoping that sorting that might have helped as well, but it didn't.
