Thanks for answering again , i wondered how long it would take for that question to pop up .
The motor is a closed deck ej 2.2 stroked to 2.35 built by Paul Finch , im led to believe it will be capable.
the car is a 2004 fsti .(let the **** taking commence)
Cheers

If Paul built the engine would he not answer your queries as you have a lot to talk about.

For my track car I needed a swirl pot from day 1.
First track day in it (335bhp, with sticky tyres) had bad fuel starve problems with anything less than 1/2 a tank.

If you're only ever driving on the road then you might be ok without, BUT considering the extreme & expensive engine build I personally wouldnt want to run the risk of running lean at all.

Well yes probably but the build went through lateral performance ....Mark is not always around to answer questions , hence me asking here.

In this situation you should be talking to your preferred mapper as to what they would be happy with. I'm sure they will be happy to oblige there are too many variables at the stage you appear to be at.

Rcm340lph pump is nowhere near enough for the sort of power you are after. On my set up I have a 3 litre swirl pot with twin 044’s, my in tank lift pump is an RCM340.

You could fit an intank 044 which would work for that power level if you don’t want to go to a swirl pot.

No problem and good luck with the build, you’re in very safe hands with Paul Finch
