Default 2007 jdm hawk

Hello

looking at viewing a jdm hawk tomorrow 67k (uk mileage conversion) fresh import grade 4 and receipts of a compression test importer requested and has full jap history.

couple questions will I okay be driving on vpower until I can get remap and would you chuck in a octain booster?

Are these cars pretty reliable it is the 2.0 engine and I know a lot of factors to consider but been saving a while and hoping I don’t get a lemon

any imput but much appreciated

thanks

I have found the engines very relieable, but then i have not got a heavy foot.
Run v.power.
I would make sure car has had a full service done. check for t/belt change.
get it undersealed/properly.
Have you seen the auction sheet?

did all this with mine, for peace of mind/reliability..............

auction report is available and also the Japanese DE-registration certificate is also available to prove the correct mileage from Japan.

its had a full service here in the uk

so running on vpower for few hundred miles be okay obviously will take it steady and it’s not been under sealed just yet but will have this done as well

I was told by a scooby specialist a remap wasn't necessary, just run it on v power (ron 99 ).

It's so much easier to get it undersealed when imported, rather than driving it into the autumn.

I’ll be able to remap it it’s just with work commitments won’t be for 3 weeks or so and will be using the car so will just use 99ron v power for time being. Unfortunately seller selling without underseal but looks really clean and least I can view and see it is will have to get it booked in and professionally done
