Default Brake fluid volume

How much fluid will I need to do a complete drain and bleed? I have 1ltr is it worth getting another bottle?

From what I've read the system holds 0.5l and most people have some left over from 1l, I've ordered 1l and will be changing fluid when it arrives :-)

Edif: also don't drain the old fluid, you'd be filling the lines with air which would be problematic to remove, just push the new fluid through

Yeah I hadn’t intended to drain and then fill but I had to remove the callipers so there was little I could do about it, I have a vacuum pump which is normally really good at bleeding it through.

Always get more than you think. It's cheap and really don't want to run out during bleeding. 1 litre should be sufficient.
