Default Hi please could I have advise.

hi iv just got a Impreza 2000 turbo it’s been stood for about 3 years it runs well to start with but when I start again when it’s warm it feels like the clutch is slipping however I was told that it had a new clutch about 6k b4 it was parked up. Is there anything else it could be ? Thanks mike

Clutch slip is clutch slip so if it's slipping it's slipping...
either they lied or the flywheel is worn badly or it's got oil on it.
would be more concerned with the cam belt if it's been sat 3 years and an oil change?

This is what I was thinking I just hoped that it might of been somthing sticking like shaft or clutch pin. Iv not chainged clutch fluid yet as would need doing if I was needing to chainge clutch. I was told by one garage that it’s a 9 hour job and another said 3-4 hours. Is there anything else that is common to look out for with imprezas if they have been stood for so long ? Thanks mike
