Converting to a Twin scroll sump.
Hi peeps .
looking into better oil protection on my newage wrx , I've been reading up a lot on baffle plates and I get the impression there mildly ok, but came across a post regarding fitting a twin scroll sump kit as baffled and better flow around the pick up pipe,
ICP are doing the full conversion kit for sams money as a plate ,
https://www.importcarparts.co.uk/parts-info?id=8345&cat=0&sub=0&sec=0&var=0&dc=&gen=&sear chKey=&searchPart=
is the twin scroll set up the next best thing to a full on baffled sump @£500?
Regards

The twin scroll pan in theory keeps oil around the pick up pipe, there's less room for the oil to "slosh" around. I went the whole hog and did a twin scroll conversion with RCM group N baffled pan on a GC8.
IRC you will need twin scroll pick pipe, windage tray and dipstick tube assembly.

This is what I heard .
Import car parts offer it as a whole kit too,
ive purchased a clubman spec (oem) sump
modded of alyn @as performance and going to try this as the car isn't a full track car running slicks etc just wanted something little better than the stock sump .
