Hi can anyone recommend a good workshop manual forn2011 sti,bought a download pay type off ebay and it was not even subaru it was for mitsibushi so got refund and said there was a problem with link. Just want a good manual with good content torque settings on engine etc amounts other chassis items...
That's what I'm after,so just go into a dealer and ask for Manuel is it on disc as above and do you know roughly how much,not that I have a dealer near me anyway Heathrow.

It also has MY08/09/10 manualsincluded as well hence the three further sub part numbers.
Cost about £60 which when compared to the old paper manuals that ran to £2-300 a set, is reasonably cheap.

Don need help have got the CD rom.but for the life of me how do I install on laptop.keeps throwing errors.can go into disc menu and go to set up then the blue box comes up with the different yrs of subaru.sais to select model I cannot select..
if I go into the disc on how to install it sais put in disc then menu comes up !! It doesn't.but in red sais caution install July 2006version or later of ssm111 pc application in advance. Hybrid manual cannot be installed unless the ssm111 has been installed!!!!!!!

Yep, trying to "install " can be tricky as it likes to link into ssm. so I tend to run each manual as a separate entity.
Easiest thing to do is look at the disk contents in explorer and then copy the complete G1110GE directory to your laptop (will take some time depending upon laptop spec).
Or you can run direct from the disk but can be very slow.
Once copied across click on G1110GE and then double click the "index.html" file.
This will open the main page for the MY11 manual, and from where you can navigate either using the main menu or the drop down menu on the left - personally I prefer the lefthand drop down menu.
if you use firefox I've found that the silver bar with the menu options is not as destinct as in IE or Edge.
Each of the G****GE folders contains a workshop manual contents
