Screw for single button key
Hi all,
I have a 2006 Impreza WRX UK Spec with a single button key. Today I wanted to change the battery as the range is dreadful and ran into some issues.
First issue is that the screw head is completely rounded off, I managed to eventually release it but I then lost it and need to find a replacement (I couldn't have put it back in anyway, but it would have been nice to have something to compare it with) - does anyone know what type of screw it is and perhaps where I can order the same screw online?
Bonus issue/question - There was about 8 inches of solder just loose inside the key, it looks like at some point it was soldered to the circuit board but had snapped, could this have been some crude attempt at increasing range of the remote? I've removed it as it wasn't connected to anything and it doesn't appear to have affected range at all.

For anyone that finds this thread in future, I found the correct screw. It's an 8mm M2 machine screw (the Subaru part number above must be for a different type of key, mine is a single button one and the Subaru supplied screw was too short by a few MM).
I paid £1.05 for 5 of them on eBay and they fit perfectly: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M1-6-M2-M...72.m2749.l2649
