Hi,
I have recently had a starting issue with my 2002 WRX Wagon. The fuel system has been taking longer than normal to pressurise when turning on the ignition. I am having to wait a few seconds for the pump to stop running before being able to start the car.


On previous cars I have changed the fuel pump and this has cured the problem. I have changed the pump on the Subaru but this hasn't helped at all.


I was wondering if anyone has any other suggestions as to what could be causing the problem?
