Tip for anyone needing to, to save the hassle of trying to reshape it if you rough handed it off.... which'll never work properly....

1) remove the screw behind the door seal, you can leave the seal on but hold it out the way. I used a magnetic screw driver to make sure I didn't drop the screw.
2) slide the weatherstrip backwards, you may need some lubricant spray but it should slide all the way off

to refit just push it from the top down on the white clips, and fit the screw.
