so I recently purchased a 2005 WRX a spun a bearing so I’m replacing the motor. I have been searching high and low trying to figure out what’s suppose to go here. When I added oil to the car in preparation for the first start up I realized it was leaking oil from the space circled. Anyone know what’s suppose to go here?! All help will be greatly appreciated!!!

Looks like it could be where the AVCS solenoid goes.

Looks as if you have a 2008 onwards double avcs STi engine

 

 

Is this solenoid NEEDED?! Considering it’s going in a 05 and idk if the harness even has a plug for it?!
