Default Ej25 closed deck

Evening all,

looking for a bit of advice, currently have a SCD 2.5 in my Type R, and beginning to regret not getting a closed deck conversion before the engine went in. I know AS performance do this conversion and will be good for 500+, the rest of the build will support this easily thankfully but I'm just wondering if everything needs to come out (I.e. Pistons etc) or whether it would be an engine out heads of kind of deal.

Basically is it possible to do with an already built block, and is it worth it? 425 is fantastic but as always, there's a hankering for more.

thanks in advance!
