Angry Running lumpy

Hi everyone, i know you probably get this everyday but im new on here and after a bit of advice after hitting a brick wall trying to diagnose the issue,

I've got a 2003 Subaru Impreza 2.0 WRX and basically it is idling lumpy and running poor in low revs specially when the engine is cold.

At first i thought it was a misfire and changed the plugs but that hasn't resolved the issue.

The thing is, when i unplug the MAF is runs and idles fine.
Ive replaced the MAF twice now but still the same.
Ive replaced the air intake pipe incase there was a leak - but still the same

The thing that is boggling my head is that it runs fine without the MAF - Does that suggest its a air intake issue?

Thanks for your help guys

I had a problem with MAF and weird idle. I was advised to simply delete my MAF and get it remapped. I've got an ESL board.

If so you could try a CTS.
