I've removed the turbo from my 05 STI and this was lurking beneath the turbo near the oil drain, I've no idea what it is.

Is it even from the car? Or is it some foreign object that does not belong in the depths of my bay.

 

It looks like the plastic cover that fits into the bell housing tm side. If you take a look on the top of the tm turbo side you should see the hole.

I found that mine wasn't very secure on my 06 hawk.
