Fitting a kill switch to newage
Have had it on my mind to fit an additional kill switch to the car (blob sti) as it would help prevent theft should the keys be stolen.
I'm not hugely electrically minded but figured a simple toggle switch somewhere would do the job.
My question is whats the simplest route to take for this? Something off the ignition or fuel pump?
Would be interested to hear peoples thoughts and if possible a wiring diagram/ecu pin out may help.
I'm an old fart so would like to locate the switch within easy reach of the drivers seat. I have a few places in mind that would be easy to route wires to so just need to know what people would recommend.
Thanks, Rich

Thanks for the replies. Anyone got pics/how to on any of the suggested?
Regarding the clutch switch, I can start the car with/without my foot on the clutch so how would this work?

Going for the fuel pump or ignition is better than for the starter motor as the car could always be tow started. They would not care about unburnt fuel getting into the Cat.

Professional car thieves will get the car no matter what you do.
