Lightened Crank Pulley - unintended consequences?

During my recent engine rebuild I was considering fitting a lightened crank pulley, but didn't at the time for cost reasons. I'm still thinking about it, but in the process I noticed that the stock unit is a 2 piece dynamically damped part (i.e. 2 chunks of metal with rubber sandwiched between them).
Does anyone know if there are any unintended consequences to fitting a single piece non-damped pulley? I guess; possible idle and pull away rev issues, but also damage to the alternator, PS pump or A/C compressor?

i'd change the aircon, alternator etc for lighter pulleys but i'd keep the oem pulley personally, it serves a purpose by damping the vibrations from the crank

Thanks for the replies. I've read lots on the forums and still non the wiser as it's highly debated. On that basis and that I've just finished a timely and costly rebuild I'm going to steer clear of crank pulley parts!
