Default Fuel pump sender

I have a Walbro fuel pump but it doesn't have the sender unit. Do I need a specific Walbro one, or will the one in my car (MY 2000, UK impreza) work?

Thanks

Sender unit?
AFAIK, the pump is the pump, and the only sender unit is separate for fuel level?

Thanks, it's because I've seen them advertised with the sender:

Walbro 255 lph fuel pump excellent working order great upgrade part £30 or £40 with sender unit complete

So wondered if the unit was specific to the pump

Not afaik. When I changed mine, it was pump only. Classic 98 car.
