Just like extra's plus if I come to sell it and it's littered with loads of extra's might help with value. Plus be good to learn how to fit one.

Rain Sensor
Improves safety by allowing the driver to keep both hands on the steering wheel. To operate the rain sensor feature, start the vehicle and then switch on the rain sensor. The rain sensor will automatically switch on the windscreen wipers when rain and/or road spray is detected.
Part No. SEWAYA8000
£ 250.00 (inc. VAT, exc. Fitting - unless otherwise stated)
Subaru Japan do a unit for the Hatch onwards GE/GR/GV Impreza and SH Forester which also includes auto lights.
I have them fitted to my MY11 saloon.
For the wipers you have to manually press a button to actuate them in auto mode. All stalk actions are still available to use.

All current models have them.
The units available on the Bay are mostly combined rain and light sensor units now (one sensor supports both functions)

Cheers for that, I've seen the kits for the GE/GR/GV models on eBay £199. Might be worth just going for after market as none designed for a classic.

There comes a point with all the driver aids that you turn most of them off so you can regain some control over your car! You must have something to do or you might just doze off. I've dropped off a couple of times in the Merc: it just parks itself in a layby, shakes me gently by the shoulder and offers me a cup of tea and some Rich Tea biscuits. Unbelievable!
Ok I've decided not to bother. I did find some OEM kits on eBay but for 2008+ models. While driving it the other day decided there was no point. Going to get my electric folding mirrors fitted.
