Default TEST MODE

Anyone shed any light on my problem.
My boost solenoid is not clicking on test mode but clicks when I connect it to the battery so it's not sticking.
It's on a bugeye & its a classic 3 port boost solenoid
Trying to get it ready for a remap

I might be mistaken but I'm sure I read a while back that as well as the green connectors up by the steering column on a newage that there are a set of green connectors behind some of the interior trim to the right of the peddles which might be unplugged
Sorry I can't be more help lol
