Default Difference Between V4 STi + '98 JDM WRX Engine?

Hi,does anybody know if the impreza v4 sti and '98 jdm wrx engines are interchangeable without altering wiring loom etc?
Any help appreciated.

as long as you use the original cars manifold, ancil's, etc. then yes.........

totally different engine spec though

Thanks for replying,so the inlet bolt pattern is the same on the heads,do they both run 440 injectors?
Could I run it on the standard v4 sti ecu without issues?
