Default Non flexi uppipe

Hi,

does anyone have experience of an uppipe without any form of flexi pipe fitted?

I replaced the standard catted one on my bugeye with a flexi one which failed as soon as the car was remapped.

I then fitted one with a sliding joint and I reckon it has failed too.

So, I'm considering a solid, non flexi one.

Any opinionons?

Also, what do people think about whether this part should be heat wrapped or not?

Thanks
Dave

I'd wrap it. It gets very hot and it's right under the block. Have you got a wrx or sti? Ie is it catted or de-catted?
