Default Ancillary hose kit fitting help

Using a cheap eBay hose kit, most of it is straightforward and not a problem. There are, however, a couple of hoses I'm not sure about.

There doesn't seem to be a hose for the bottom of the header tank, which is weird, UNLESS this one I have used here should be it:

But the hard pipe under the header tank looks to be too wide for that hose IMO:

In addition to that, the hose to the top rear of the header tank, there's a silicone hose in the set that COULD be for that, but it actually looks closer in shape to the PCV hose in front of the intercooler:

Anyone else used one of these sets? Where did you put them? It's the G-Plus set. Pretty decent otherwise. They look well made.

Looking at this (assuming it's the kit you have)

You have the usual top/bottom hoses, the header tank to rad pipes and the expansion bottle pipe.

You have the two pipe for the brake servo feed ( need to swap the NRV)

You then have four pipes left over which look as if they will fit the pcv system (head breather pipes to the metal pipe on the intercooler)

Pretty much the same yeah. Wheres this NRV? Scratch that just been out for a look and found it:

Guess I'll have to cut it out? Ny tips for getting it into the new hose?

This is what's fitted so far and what's left over:

One of those is the hose to the BOV, one is the other metal pipe in front of the IC and then the S shaped one is either the PCV or the hose coming off the rear of the header tank. I just don't know which of the two it is. Same with the almost right angled hose going into the brake booster, should it be there or should it be on the bottom of the header tank? Weird a kit would leave two hoses out like that.

Swapped over the NRV on mine yest, stuck the new pipe in boiling water to soften it up a bit then used a bit of WD40 to help getting it to slide in the new hose, pushed it in with an extension bar, only has to go in the pipe a couple of inches or so

Yeah I know that one Don, it's just the S shaped one I'm unclear on.

Also can't get that damn NRV out! Looks like I'll be cutting it.

Well that's the valve done

Here's a question; do I need to clamp the PCV hoses? Oem aren't clamped so I haven't clamped the new ones thus far. I've clamped anything that did have a clamp on it OEM wise.

What a carry on. I fitted everything that was long enough, but the bottom radiator hose was actually too long. I trimmed it, fitted it and clamped it up tight; it's pissed all the coolant out.

Honestly wtf? What am I supposed to do about that? I couldn't have clamped it any tighter but it doesn't want to know.

From what end of the bottom hose is it leaking, waterpump elbow or radiator?

What clips are you using - those supplied in kit?

I had no probs fitment wise using samco/mishimoto hose kits, and either used the samco clips or the genuine subaru ones

Radiator (Mishimoto).

I tried a very solid jubilee that I had and then also tried the clamp from the OEM hose. It leaked with both. Not sure if it's something to do with how I've trimmed it down, although not sure how...

Not knocking ya pal, as I will probs be buying a set myself at some point, just seems ya get a little more trouble with the cheaper sets, but I'm too Scrooge to shell out big bucks for a name and a little better fit

I actually bought the because I needed a radiator top hose and they were available. Samco you always end up waiting for. It took over two months to get my Samco intercooler hoses. Mental.
