Default Idle problem

Been having problems with my car... hunting for revs to nearly stalling and idling up and down, so I've just taken the pipe off the dump valve tip and it idles fine, any ideas what's going on?

baileys DV are known to be rubbish,is it brand new?
Probably leaking air causing poor idle.
Can I ask why you changed the old one out when it was running fine?
Btw I won't ever run fine when you run a vta unmapped,it will run rich on throttle lift.

I've got a red baileys,an eBay(forge copy) recirc and an proper forge vta in my garage if you are wanting to buy another?
I've gone DVless
The forge copy recirc ran ok,so did the forge vta but the baileys was cr@p.
I mapped with all 3 and both the vta had momentary rich fueling on lift, running ESL so no option to adjust tip in/out as well as some aftermarket ECUs
