Default Coolant confusions!!

Guys, need to top up my Coolant after a blown rad. After lots of research I'm still confused!! I have bright green Coolant in there at the moment. Went to my local motor factors and purchased some granville subzero super green which look bright green. This is silicate based antifreeze .,is this right??? Help!!

The last time I bought some I ended up getting it from Subaru as it turned out to be the same price as stuff (which I wasn't sure about) from motor factors.

Forget the colour, it's just a dye and means nothing, except to make it look pretty and identify when it's dirty.

Have a read here: http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars...o/a91/1272436/

I normally ask in a decent motor factors for one suitable for an alloy engine and with corrosion inhibitors, (which is, or should be, the same thing really).

My current fuill is pink......
