I own a 1998 V4 Impreza wrx, bought with an aftermarket ecu. For the moment i'm using this ecu, but i want to be able to use an oem one. I have no access to the original ecu (missing when i've bought the car).
My car have the immobilizer, and i think that the keys are programmed in the ECU.
Now, if i buy an ecu (9s, i think the same as uk 8s), the code of my key can be programmed via the SSM2 tool in the new ecu? As maybe i've found a cheap SSM2 tool with the immobilizer cartridge (18482aa020), and i love do things by myself instead of going to the subaru dealer
