Guys, Looking to purchase this ninja 2 backbox secondhand.... came off a classic but i want to fit it to a bugeye wrx 2002. seller says it will fit but speaking to scoobyworld they told me it wouldnt, the hangers are different. Ive looked at the hangers on my 2002 and they look the same? any advice?

 

 

The classic back box is longer than the newage so would stick out the back a fair bit which won't look right, hanger on the pipe has to be cut & welded 180 degrees as faces wrong way. Only way you'd get it to fit is if you had a complete classic system. Had similar problem when wanting to fit my classic back box to my newage.........cheaper & easier to buy a backbox designed for the newage

 

I've got a Ninja 2 from a classic on my newage WRX, I chopped the hanger off that was in the wrong position, and bolted it on fine. Doesn't stick out too far on mine?
