sure this must have been covered before....BUT.....has anyone fitted a different make cam belt (ie something other than Subaru) ???

Been advised only to use a Subaru belt from main dealer, but other people reckon other good makes are fine to use.....Goodyear or Gates for example.....

any thoughts ????

Camelts sucks ***. Just trying to allign the fecking thing made me almost kill myself. Thank god I don't have to do it in a while...

I used the.........long pause,something blue i think,exact copy of original but did,nt have the two white lines on belt to line up with notches in casing,£36+ vat.Jayz.
