Got these heads and paid a fair buck for them. Everything seems to be in really good condition until i turned them over to see the typical spark plug cracking. I know this is common but the seller didn't mention any cracks before dispatching (he took the heads off a freshly built forged engine) and I know he'll have seen them as the faces have been wire brushed. Just wondering if you guys think these are within tolerance, way out, if there fixable or if I should look into getting my money back?
Thanks!
Matt
Crack are very common on avcs heads, afaik as long as the cracks don't go further than the thread then can be reused, past that then..........your choice to use, I wouldn't.
